Moist Banana Bread 

Katie a food blogger called banana bread the magical bread. And I believe her.  This bread is so different from the regular bread we eat in Nigeria and I’m sorry to let you know you’ve been missing a lot.

Bananas are rich in potassium which helps regulate the body’s blood pressure and magnesium which improves digestive health and let’s not forget that it is rich in Fiber which helps you feel full.

This bread is packed with lots of nutrients and I’m sure you don’t want to miss out of it. Please don’t be selfish, make sure you sure it with your family and friends because you might be tempted not to after taken a bite😁

Ingredients

• 13/4 cups of flour

•  3 large bananas (purred)

• 1/3 cup oil

• 1/2 cup sweetner (honey, gave, sugar)

•  2 eggs

• 1teaspoon baking soda (not baking powder)

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

•1/2 teaspoon salt

• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

• 1/2 cup milk

 

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 165 degree Celsius

2. In a large bowl mix honey and oil together. In a separate bowl whisk the pureed bananas and egg together. Add egg mixture to the whisked honey and oil.

3. Add vanilla extract, salt, cinnamon and baking powder to the large bowl above and gently stir. Then add the flour and milk ( flour, milk, flour, milk, flour milk)  combine well.

4. Grease your baking pan and pour the batter into it

6. Bake batter for  50 minutes or until it is done (insert a clean  toothpick if it comes out clean it is well baked)

 

 

Note:

Banana bread is a moist bread so it can stay out of the refrigerator for 2-3 days or store in the refrigerator for one week.
