How To Make Almond Milk 

 

 

Almond milk is one good cow milk alternative, it is rich in calcium, vitamin E and low in calories.
For people like me who find it difficult to digest cow milk, almond milk is here for you!.
Guess what? It’s even easy to make. It can be used in cereals, baking and can be taken along side with baked foods.

Ingredients 

•1 cup raw soaked almonds

•5 cups clean water

•1 pinch sea salt

•2 pitted soaked whole dates or 1 tap vanilla extract (optional) as sweetner
Instructions 

1. Add soaked almonds and the other ingredients into a high speed blender. Blend till smooth (blend for 2 minutes)

2. Use a strainer or a cheesecloth to separate the milk from the other particles

3. Drink milk fresh or store in a glass jar and refrigerate for some days. Shake well before drinking.

Note:
You can soak almonds over night or in very hot water for 2 hours.
