Homemade Apple sauce 

This simple recipe of apple sauce is mind blowing, it’s easy to make and the ingredients are affordable. Through my personal research I’ve come to find out that apple sauce is a healthy substitute for butter or oil in cakes, muffins etc and some people even use it as an egg replacement in recipes.

Ingredients

• 4 apples 

• water/ apple juice/ apple cider 

• 3 tablespoon lemon juice 

•  cinnamon (optional)
Preparations

1. Peel, chop and core apples 

2. Pour apples into a big pot and cover apples half way with water / apple juice and let it simmer for 20 minutes.

3. Add the lemon juice and cinnamon and blend the apples in a blender.
Enjoy your apple sauce!
